What does BoonBuy shipping actually cost, and why is it often more than the item?
Couriers bill you on whichever number is larger: the real weight, or the volumetric weight, which is length × width × height in centimetres divided by 6000. A 900 g puffer jacket that packs into a 45 × 35 × 20 cm box bills as 5.25 kg. Across the 633 listings here with real warehouse measurements, the volumetric figure is the one you pay on 587 of them — 93% — which is why bulky, compressible items are the expensive ones to ship.

How should I read QC photos before approving a parcel?
QC is the one moment you can reject an item before it leaves China; once you confirm shipment, you own it. Look at what actually varies between batches — stitching density and alignment, glue bleed along the sole, print registration, hardware weight and labelling. The photos published on this site were taken in a shopping agent’s warehouse when earlier buyers’ orders arrived, so they show real batch variation, but they are not photographs of your parcel and not BoonBuy’s inspection record.

How do Chinese sizes convert to EU and US sizes?
Asian sizing runs roughly one to two sizes small, but the offset is not constant across categories and not constant across sellers, so no universal conversion table is reliable. Use a chart to get in range, then decide with measurements: take a garment you already own that fits the way you want, lay it flat, and measure chest pit-to-pit, length, waist and inseam. For shoes, measure your foot in centimetres instead of trusting the EU label.

How does ordering through a shopping agent work, step by step?
You pay twice, at two different times. First the item price plus domestic Chinese shipping to the warehouse, which is usually small; then international shipping once the parcel has arrived and been weighed, which is frequently more than the item itself. The QC round sits between those two payments — that is your inspection window, and the last point at which you can still refuse the item.

How do I turn a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link into an agent order?
The agent reads only two things from a link: which platform, and which item ID. Everything else in a marketplace URL is tracking noise. App share links are the usual failure, because they hide the real item ID behind a redirect — open the listing in a browser and take the ID from there. Every listing on this site publishes its platform and item ID as plain text, so you can rebuild a link that has gone dead.

What does “verified” mean on this site, and what does it exclude?
It is a data check performed when the site is built, not a physical inspection of the goods. A listing counts as verified only when the source item resolved through the agent’s own product API, its price was re-checked inside our freshness window, it carries a description written for this site, and it has exactly one primary image with a recorded source and rights note. Anything that fails a check keeps its page but drops out of the count.

How we count “verified”
A listing only counts as verified when all of these hold at build time: the exact source URL resolved and its platform and item ID matched; the displayed price was re-checked inside our freshness window; it carries a non-template description written for this site; and it has exactly one primary image with a recorded rights note. Anything that fails a check keeps its page but drops out of the count — see the verification guide for the full rule set.
We do not sell anything and we do not process orders. Prices come from the seller and change without notice.
