Privacy policy

What this site is, technically

Every page you can reach here is a static HTML file served from disk. There is no application server, no database on the public path, no login, no cart and no checkout. That constrains what we could collect even if we wanted to.

What we collect

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
• No payment data. We never see it; payment happens on BoonBuy.
• Server logs. The web server records the request line, timestamp, response status, user agent and IP address for security and uptime purposes. These rotate and are deleted on a short retention schedule.
• No marketing or advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking pixels.

Analytics

If and when we enable analytics, it will be a self-hosted, cookieless setup measuring page views in aggregate, and this page will be updated before it goes live. We will not deploy non-essential tracking that requires prior consent without asking for that consent first. Having a privacy policy is not the same as having consent, and we do not treat it as such.

When you click an affiliate link

Clicking “Buy on BoonBuy” sends you to boonbuy.com with our referral code in the URL. From that moment you are on their site undertheir privacy policy, not ours. They will know that you arrived from a referral. We receive only aggregate commission reporting — we cannot see who you are, what you browsed, or what you bought.

Product images are served from this domain rather than hot-linked, so simply reading a listing page does not announce your visit to a third-party image host.

Requests

To ask about this policy, or to request removal of content that identifies you, use the contact route on our notice and takedown page. We respond to identification and privacy requests on the same channel as copyright notices.
